Maggie Martin is a director in the firm’s Oklahoma City office and serves as chair of the Healthcare Practice Group where she represents healthcare institutions, hospitals, physicians and hospice facilities in transactional, operational and regulatory matters.
Having served for more than a decade as in-house legal counsel for INTEGRIS Health, Inc., Maggie has extensive experience with a wide range of health law issues including: physician contracting and medical staff matters; clinical trials/research and institutional review boards; behavioral health hearings and regulatory issues; HIPAA privacy and security; EMTALA; and Stark and Anti-Kickback. She also represents healthcare industry clients in healthcare services contracting, regulatory compliance analysis and mergers and acquisitions.
Maggie received her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Prior to law school, she attended DePauw University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. Outside of her legal practice, Maggie has served as an adjunct faculty member for the University of Oklahoma College of Public Health, teaching Healthcare Law and Ethics; and has been involved in community organizations, including serving as an Elder at the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond.
