Taren Black is a paralegal in the firm’s Oklahoma City office and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice Group.
She started her legal career as a paralegal with a small personal injury firm. As a Labor & Employment paralegal at Crowe & Dunlevy, Taren assists attorneys with document management and production as well as reviews documents for key information and potential witnesses.
Her daily duties also include assisting attorneys in drafting removal pleadings and requesting documents from other sources, such as the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Taren has worked on both sides of litigation support and finds great value in the efficiency of document collection and review.
A certified paralegal through the National Association of Legal Assistants, Taren received her initial certification from the University of Oklahoma Legal Assistant Education Program. She earned her undergraduate degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in criminal justice.
