Karen Martin-Faulkner is a paralegal in the firm’s Oklahoma City office and a member of the Bankruptcy & Creditor’s Rights and Litigation & Trial Practice Groups.
Karen assists with the drafting, revision and filing of pleadings in state and federal courts, and supports attorneys in discovery and preparations for deposition, arbitration, and trial in civil, criminal and bankruptcy litigation. She researches online records to assist in the recovery of creditor assets, as well as drafts and researches internal memos regarding bankruptcy procedure. Experienced in bankruptcy procedure on both the debtor and creditor sides, including Chapter 11 and bankruptcy appeals, Karen was instrumental in the development and maintenance of a notice pleadings website for two different Chapter 11 debtors and helped with the successful reorganization of a Chapter 11 debtor company.*
She graduated with her undergraduate degree from the University Of Oklahoma, and earned her Legal Assistant Certification from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Karen is an A.B.J.A. Certified Bankruptcy Assistant and a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee.
